The Holiday Bizarre is a fundraising event for the Clowns Without Borders with the intentions of sharing our local laughs with the rest of the world.
Many local businesses have been gracious with their gift giving as well and shared over twenty prizes that will be raffled off (prizes totaling over $500 in value). A special thank you goes out to all the sponsors!
A good time is ensured for all so be sure to check out The Holiday Bizarre @ The Jambalaya this December 18th.

Philly Benefit for Egypt!
Project Egypt is in it’s 6th year thanks to the generous donations from people like you. Each year Clowns visit the street children, orphans, and handicapped children of Cairo offering shows workshops and cheap laughs. In the past few visits, we have broadened our horizons through collaborations with Egyptian clowns who are continuing to work with children year-round. Please come out and support these collaborations.

Clowns Without Borders is once again seeking out th
e generous support of its community to help raise funds to cover the transportation costs for its upcoming expeditions of laughter specifically to Chiapas and Kenya in 2010 and 2011.
Local CWB volunteers Rudi Galindo and Shea Freedomhowler are planning expeditions in the upcoming months. Rudi will be continuing touring shows around the Chiapas region at schools, refugee camps an…d various under served areas. Shea Freedomhowler will be returning to Kenya to provide entertainment for orphanages in Nairobi, and at primary schools in the Mt. Kenya foothills. All proceeds from the Arcata benefit shows will go to funding these expeditions.
Portland Benefit for Haiti!

March 12, 2010 - 7:30-10pm
This is an annual highlight of Portland’s variety theater/new circus scene featuring Portland’s top jugglers, acrobats, eccentric comedians, and clowns. Clean adult humor, world class stunts, family friendly.
All proceeds benefit Clowns Without Borders-USA. This will raise money for sending theatrical teaching and performing groups to Haiti to work with thousands of children who will be in tent camps over the next year. Find our More!

The show promises to be an evening and afternoon of eccentric physical comedy, magic and mayhem with performances by International Artists from around the world. The performance promises to tickle your funny bone and provide side splitting entertainment suitable for all ages.

All proceeds of the show will help send local performing artists to provide relief to the victims of the Haiti Earthquake as well as separate projects in the Lacandon jungles in Chiapas Mexico.

- Contribute to the upcoming project: Clowning with youngsters in Indonesia!
Here’s your chance to get in on the game and be part of a wonderful humanitarian venture.
In November Anna will travel to Indonesia to join Clowns Without Borders partner Dan Roberts, and together with an Indonesian musician, we will bring laughter and excitement to kids in homeless shelters, community centers and schools. We will work in Jakarta, where there are a great number of street children, and then travel to Aceh, where many children are suffering psychological trauma from the 2004 tsunami and years of civil strife.
Clowns Without Borders is also working on making further trips to Haiti possible and even to establish an ongoing presence there, where children are enduring extreme poverty.

The 2009 Arcata Clowns Without Borders benefit show featured local performers from around the Humboldt Area, Shea FreeLove CWB volunteer, Steveweven the clown, Aokay Wizard at Play, Shantaram the Magician, and Sean Powers musician and puppeteer(not in picture). Scores of children and familys were delighted by the matinee and evening performances at Redwood Raks World Dance Studio.
